What we collect

• Account: email, display name, @handle, and an optional profile photo.
• Body profile: date of birth, sex, height and weight, used only to compute your daily goals.
• Daily activity totals: active calories, exercise minutes, steps, active hours and distance, one set of totals per day.
• Challenge activity: scores, streaks, trophies, feed posts and reactions.
• Device push token, if you allow notifications.

How health data is handled

• Rally reads Apple Health / Health Connect on your device only, with your permission, and uploads only the daily totals above. We never connect to Apple or Google servers for your health data and never write anything back to your health store.
• We do not read location, heart rate, sleep, or anything beyond the metrics listed.
• You can revoke access any time in the Health app (iOS) or Health Connect (Android).

How it's used and who sees it

• Your daily totals are scored into points; members of a challenge you join can see your points, streaks, trophies, profile photo, handle, and day-by-day score breakdowns for that challenge.
• We never sell your data, never show ads, and use no third-party analytics on health data.

Storage and deletion

• Data is stored on our servers and retained while your account exists.
• Delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account): your profile, health totals, scores, trophies and photos are permanently deleted. Challenges you created pass to their longest-standing member or are deleted if you were alone in them.

Children

Rally is for ages 13 and up.

Changes

We'll update this page and change the effective date if our practices change.
